Mayoral Welcome by Cllr John O’Leary, Deputy Mayor of Waterford City & County @ 11.30 Civic Offices, Dungarvan.
12.00 Visit to Waterford County Museum, Memorial Wall and Dungarvan Castle
Followed by the Launch of the DNA Project by Bernadet Guest, Heritage Officer Waterford City & County Council.

There are no official events planned fro Saturday night but you have lots of options.
Check out one of Dungarvan’s award winning restaurants (including the Indian Ocean who sponsored our launch). There will be music in a number of venues.
Mass at 12 noon in Abbeyside Church
2.30pm: Talk on DNA , followed by Q&A on the McGrath DNA Project.
3.30pm: Clan Meeting to discuss the future, developing our network world wide. Plus the announcement of the venue for the next gathering.
4.00pm Finish of meeting.
7.00pm: Clan Dinner Reception

The fee for the event is €98 and this covers the BBQ, talks/lectures, the trad sessions, tours, including the heritage tour taking in Sladey Castle and Lismore Castle and the Clan Dinner.

There will be a genealogist available to guide you in your search for relatives on Friday and Saturday. She will be giving a lecture on genealogy on Friday afternoon.
The Park Hotel is our base for the weekend. At the moment, we have visitors from USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and UK attending the event.
