tickets for events such as the BBQ will go on sale closer to the weekend. At the minute, we are selling the full package for Clan Dinner, Coach tour to McGrath Heritage sites in the West Waterford area, the lectures etc.. Contact us a few weeks ahead of the event and we can put your name on 3 tickets.

I can not believe that I only today ( 6/27) found out about this meeting. I am heart broken. I hope tha one day I can make it to a Reunion. My maternal great grandmother was a McGrath. Her Grandfather John McGrath immigrated to Canada and Married Mary Flynn. My great Grandmother Hilda Ellena McGrath immigrated to USA to CA when she was about 19 years old. She married a Abner Smith. My Grandmother Mary Charlene Smith Jaeger- Bascom was getting letters from Ireland about Back Taxes owed on her “Family? ” castle. I have been unable to find out anything nor to find out when John McGrath and Patrick O’Leary immigrated from Ireland. County Wicklow and Dublin were just two of three places we were informed the McGraths were from.

Hope to see you in 2019 in Dungarvan ! Plans are already been made and a true Irish welcome awaits !
Dungravan is a charming town on Ireland’s south coast and only about an hours from Cork, Kilkenny, Waterford, Blarney Castle, Rock of Cashel and Cobh, the port from which many Irish people left for other lands.

My paternal grandmother was Deborah Begley born in Knocknagoshel (?). She came to the U.S. and married John McGrat on Staten Island, NY. My father William Joseph McGraath, was one of six siblings. HE and my mother Julia had seven children, four girls and three boys. Over time, we all moved from Staten Island, to NJ, NY,NV, and CA. We lost our parents, first dad in 1980 and then mom on 2012, our sister Rose Heather joined them in heaven 2015. We visit mostly now, for weddings and funerals. This is going to change now, in 2017.
My sister, Susan just told be about the reunion in 2019, and am very excited to learn more and book early. Hopefully, at least four of us will be in Ireland in 2019. Thanks for posting. SLAINTE
